Rootscraft launched yesterday — to resounding success.
Unlike any other Minecraft SMP, Rootscraft is set on one small, beautiful, European-esque continent. All players are encouraged to group into tribes, or nations; run-ins with other players are frequent.
Notable mods include Terrafirmacraft, Firmalife, Voice Chat, & Create.
With (tuned-down) cold mechanics, sparse food, and other players at every corner, survival is only be feasible in numbers—every time your group completes an interesting roleplay moment, you'll be awarded a token to stave off death.
