 | As I discovered this morning, some Minecoin gift cards print the redemption code on the point-of-sale receipt rather than on the card itself. The gift card has no peel-away foil or visible code at all. I understand this is to prevent theft, though I suspect Microsoft will also see a sizable increase in unclaimed codes as a result. Please make sure to ask about, keep track of, and gift the accompanying purchase receipt along with the card. Fortunately in our case, the relative was able to send over a photo of the receipt after the fact, I have a happy child and the crisis was averted.
