Do you wanna play on a server similar to hermitcraft? Well you came to the right place!
Pineapple craft Is a server I've been running for a while which is heavily inspired by the hermitcraft in the way that we run things. This summer on July 1st we started a new world! We want to keep adding players consistently to replace inactive people, so if your interested Here is a rundown of everything you need/may want to know.
The servers Players:
The server will be looking for a total of 20-30 players. We will have some returning and many new members.
To combat inactivity we want to consistently add players based on how many stop playing. For example: 1 week may be really active so I will only add 2 players. Another week may be really slow so I add 4. As well as adding, I will also consistently check who hasn’t been playing and remove those who aren’t playing.
I want to stay around the 20-30 range consistently so even if I'm adding players regularly, I will not add too many that makes the server too large and strays away from that community feel.
Map:
For the server I will be using a seed that has an island big enough for everyone's own bases but also small enough for us to be close together. We will all be forced to have our bases within the island's borders BUT we can explore outside and build farms wherever we wish.
I will not be posting the map here yet but when the server is closer to launching I will be doing a seed reveal for everyone in a discord!
Shopping District:
This server is inspired by hermitcraft SO of course we will have a shopping district.
The shopping district will be outlined as a set area reserved for it and we will use diamonds as our currency.
The shopping district will be MOSTLY unregulated (other than a set currency) but if I feel something may cause an issue or tension we may be forced to intervene.
Community:
The rules of the server will not allow for any stealing, griefing, etc.
This is NOT a roleplay server so if that’s what you are looking for you may want to look elsewhere!!
We want to have a close group that can progressively get to know each other throughout the season and have a collaborative environment!
I would also like to incorporate some community projects throughout the season!
Content Creation:
While I will not require everyone to make content, making content is heavily encouraged and may increase your chances of acceptance. I will be making videos along with some other players on the server already. As a result, I want to add more content creators to work and make videos with. As well as watch the videos myself and see what you guys are working on!
Server Additions:
We have several datapacks from vanilla tweaks which will be listed in the discord server.
We will add some protection plugins like coreprotect
We will add Voice chat mod on the server and possiby some very minor vanilla tweaks (Undecided)
The goal:
I know this post is long and if you did not read all of that, this part is the best part to read.
Overall, I want to help build a collaborative community for those of us who want to play minecraft the way the hermits do. I'm looking for some content creators however, content is not required. I want us to all do our best to build the best we can and transform our world into something fun and pretty!
