 | Chart I made a while back, with a large number of visual and stylistic improvements. Common questions: What is exposure?- Exposure is the likelihood that, when generated next to an air block, the ore will be replaced with stone, deepslate, or netherrack. At full exposure, this chance is 0%. At no exposure, this chance is 100%. Why are some of them shaped so strangely?- I dunno. Ask Mojang. But it is accurate to how they generate in-game. Is this proportional to quantity of ore veins or quantity of ore blocks?- Ore blocks. Why doesn't the Overworld chart go up to 320?- You can build up to Y 320 in the Overworld, but the world generation is hard-limited to Y 256.
