My theory on the Trial Chambers

So, I'm a major theorist on this stuff, this is what I think. Firstly: in-game there seem to be 3 different races that build structures. - Illagers - Villagers - whatever ancient player/Steves that is now zombies/skeletons - the main part of figuring out the trial chamber lore is figuring out which of these three built it. - So, look for clues. - Villagers can be crossed off the list immediately, need I say more? - I think it's Illagers. - This is because of the bad omen effect being a trigger, all the magical stuff similar to evokers that are very ingrained into the basis of it, and the symbolism of the faces on the spawners being similar to the totem of undying. - the massive face builds are also very in-character for the illagers, they do this very often in their mansions. - So, if it's a Illager structure, why is the building style so different? - I find it likely that this was newer. Something that the illagers built as a proving/training grounds to help them become better fighters and for the evokers to practice magic better. - So why aren't they present? - Likely because it was simply too over-the-top and expensive with all the copper. And the trials themselves proved far too difficult for the illagers, and the chamber itself was far too hard to reach, being so far underground. So either it was abandoned, all the builders and other illagers involved died, or both. - Verdict: the Trial Chambers were a training grounds for the illagers that was found to be impractical and too difficult and thus was abandoned (very recently hence it's good condition.) it was an attempt by the ever-curious illagers to try something new that failed. - what do you all think?
