Hi everyone! Here's a bit about a modded server that I'm starting soon.
This modpack focuses on making the game a little more balanced. With a new difficulty mod, the removal of villager trades, & ancient debri moving it's way to the end, the overall progression of Minecraft has been slowed, & gear & resources have become that much more valuable. (Yeah, if you want mending you'll have to fish for it. I'm serious.)
With new structures to explore, & the islands of The aether in the clouds, there'll be many things to discover throughout the server... let's just hope we don't get lost...
The difficulty mod mentioned above is called Dungeon Difficulty, which increases the difficulty & rewards based on player count & location, such as dimension & structure.
Now, this server isn't focused on PvP at all, but for those who enjoy it, there is a set of rules to ensure consent, safety & punishment for those who don't comply. Rivalries!
Those who do not want to partake do not have to. However, if someone does steal from you or kill you, etc. you're free to retaliate in a similar manner, rather than just reporting it to the admins & getting them banned for a few weeks. (Why? Content, obviously).
Of course Rivalries can involve multiple people, factions, etc. & there is no obligation to specify you are in a rivalry before you retaliate to an offense (because that'd be no fun now would it?), although you can't tell someone you're reporting them & then change your mind, that's frustrating.
This server certainly wont be perfect, as it's my first time trying something like this in a long time, but I hope you'll enjoy it & I hope that being a part of this community will be good fun for everybody.
