Mappercraft employs a 1:1000 scale map of the Earth and has a land claiming system - no factions or towny with their weird permissions and chunky square borders - you simply make a map of the land you want to claim and staff will approve or deny it!
The server is the world's oldest geopolitical Minecraft server, fact checked. We have our own wiki documenting the long and rich history of the server - the nations, cities, wars, people, companies, and events that have colored the long and storied history. The server has been around for 12+ years, and the current map was first played on in 2020. Despite having such a storied history in nearly every inch of the map, anyone can join in and make their mark. Will you continue the legacy of past empires, or write your own story?
