Welcome to Mainstay!
Mainstay is a semi-vanilla SMP originally created for a close-knit group of friends, but as we grew and developed our server experience, we decided to open up our community to welcome like-minded players from around the world!
If you’re searching for a server where your input matters, you’re in the right place. Mainstay is driven by community voting, where players collaborate to shape the future of the server. Inspired by Hermitcraft and SciCraft, we bring a familiar vanilla experience with quality-of-life improvements, focusing on community projects, personal builds, and large-scale collaborations.
Server Features
Java 1.21.1 with selective datapacks and mods for enhanced yet familiar gameplay.
Proximity Voice Chat for immersive, real-time interaction with nearby players.
Dynmap to view a live map of the server world.
No Age Restriction – Everyone is welcome as long as they act responsibly.
Community-Driven Decisions – Players vote on server changes and new features, ensuring everyone has a say in how the server evolves.
Rules & Requirements
Be Kind and Respectful – Zero tolerance for toxic behavior.
Play Fair – No hacks, cheats, or unfair mods.
No Griefing – Lighthearted pranks are fine, but they should not cause harm.
Stay Thoughtful – Keep areas clean and be mindful of others when gathering resources or building.
Additional Information
Our server officially launched on October 19th. The Ender Dragon was defeated on November 1st, but there are still many community events and adventures waiting for you to join!
