 | I've been playing my world with Alex's Mobs and Alex's Caves installed and having a blast, I loved the glowy deep sea critters (and the blobfish) and wanted to bring them home, but I wanted to put them in an appropriate environment so I recreated an abyssal chasm in miniature at my base. I expanded a small cave in my mountain base into a tal crevice and filled it with water, I replaced the stone with Deep slate (some stone is still left in this clip but I've since finished the deepslating) to match the abyssal walls, covered the floor with Muck, added some smoke stacks and some abyssmarine stone for variety, and just to give the illusion of a distant sky I replaced the highest ceiling tiles with light blue concrete, so even if the render fog gives way it still looks like you're the sea and not inside mountain. submitted by /u/gammaAmmonite [link] [comments] |
