For context, I’ve been playing minecraft on and off for over 12 years now. During that time, I was mostly a keep inventory off player but things have changed recently.
I started a world with my girlfriend (who, kindly speaking is not that good at the game) and we turned on keep inventory so it wouldn’t be annoying trying to get her loot back every time.
Turns out, I’m actually loving it, we combined it with no mob griefing so all builds are permanent AND everything in the inventory can’t be lost. I’ve always been pretty good at MC, but this just makes the experience so much better than normal survival. I basically get an instant fast teleport, I don’t have to worry about my items despawning, plus (w mob griefing off) creepers aren’t gonna destroy my builds.
I’ve had ppl say skill issue but like be so fr. 1. mc is an ez game. 2. who cares just have fun
tldr: keep inventory is fun, don’t shy away from it just because purists tell you to.
