= = About the server = =
Kamacraft was founded in 2019 by a trio of video game industry veterans and is now on season 5 in a 1.20.1 PaperMC world. We started with a brand new world when 1.20.1 came so there is definitely still room for new players to join in and explore!
All of our server members are adults with adult things to do, so no one expects you to be online 24/7, or even every day. That said, we hope to find new long time players to join our small(ish) but lovely community.

= = Rules = =
Respect other players. This applies to everything about the server, from chat to gameplay. Don't steal, don't cheat, don't grief, and don't bully. If we have to explain more than that, this probably isn't the server for you.
New rules and suggestions are generally voted in the Discord in a democratic fashion, and are often adopted.
Joining the Discord server is mandatory. Active participation is encouraged but not required. This is because all server-related announcements are shared through Discord.
= = Do your own thing. Or don't. = =
As everyone on our server has other obligations, and gaming should always be recreation, never an obligation, there is a strong effort to let everyone play in their own style, at their own pace. If you want to build a giant floating base, go for it! If you want to help out in the community areas, awesome!
= = Community resources = =
We put a lot of energy into making the server a welcoming and inviting place for newcomers. Spawn has a community housing and basic farms to help new players get situated. Using and building them is of course 100% optional!
= = Events = =
KamaCraft prides itself on having own custom made events, run both by admins and by players!
In the past we have had PVP tournaments, a "hoglin hunting month" event with custom assassin hoglins with custom loot, custom "challenge" advancements, easter egg hunting and an AR-like event that led players all around the server (and even outside of the server!) to find new clues to solve and in the end we found a bountiful treasure!
We have yet to have any events this season since this world is still fairly new. What will happen next? Well that is still a mystery! You can also be part of planning events if that is something you would like to do! Participating in events is of course completely optional!
= = Datapacks, plugins and crafting tweaks = =
We aim for a roughly vanilla experience, but we don't hesitate to add QOL or "just for fun" datapacks and plugins, including multiple custom-coded plugins and datapacks to implement requested or missing features. Some of the datapacks we have installed are:
