Is Java worth buying for 20 dollars?

Is Java that much better to spend 20bucks on? I’ve looked at buying it before but 40 was too expensive when I already play bedrock, but with the anniversary sale, I’m considering it again.

Edit: It seems like a pretty unanimous decision for yes! So I’ll be a Java player pretty soon. I’m super excited for shaders and mods. Thanks guys!
