Is anyone having trouble play on PS5 after the new update?

Hello, I just downloaded the new update on PS5 using the PS5 version of Minecraft. For months I wasn’t able to play it because it was a laggy mess, often skipping frames. Figured out that changing the texture pack made it work and now after updating it, it has returned to being a laggy mess, even with the texture pack swap. Is anyone else having this problem or am I the only one?
