Invalid sitemap

Navigating here: https://fpstips.com/sitemap.xml shows that the sitemap file is invalid. I noticed recently that on the same day I upgraded to 2.3.4 that Google randomly deindexed a bunch of my pages with no manual actions. Could this be the source of the problem? Any help is appreciated!
