Hello everyone,
It's that time of year again where we open our gates to all you wonderful people that made our server possible! InsigniaCraft is a purposefully small server that has been built up of players from this reddit and for the third year running we're keeping the tradition of taking in around 10-15 new players before our server launches tomorrow at 8pm CEST.
As the title says, we are a HermitCraft inspired community and if you are familiar with how they run things then you should fit right in. In the past we have had great success with separate server events similar to what the hermits have done, such as the Double Life series or our own spin on UHC.
While we are aiming to keep the vanilla feeling, we have generated the map using a combination of Tectonic and Arboria datapacks to help shape the landscape into something more awe-inspiring. The server will be using some 'quality of life' datapacks to make the gameplay a bit less stressful. We like to use gravestones, proximity voice chat, creepers explode into confetti rather than breaking blocks, and fire spread is disabled. There may also be short term mini events such as a 'Tagged' player running around on the server so beware of that!
There are about 30 of us in the Discord server and usually around 50% active players on the Minecraft side of things. We do like to keep it small so that we all know each other and feel comfortable getting involved... but you redditors continue to impress us with your game knowledge and incredible builds. Plus, we would love to play Double Life or Last Life with some fresh faces so additional players are certainly welcome!
The server is hosted in Missouri, US however our players are from all over the world so there should always be someone around to ask questions or game with.
