So, my 8 y.o. just had a bday, and i saved and searched and got them a Ps4 VR for their birthday. Then, to my surprise, one of their favorite games that they were looking forward to playing in VR the most, Minecraft, didn't just have that feature present but not receiving updates, they literally deleted it.
How is this not theft? How is it not theft to buy a game (I bought it new, not used), then for them to take it from you. It's the same as if they just walked into your house and took it off your shelf. We all paid for something, and now it doesn't even exist. That is fucked up, and should be illegal.
Now i have to explain to my child why he can't play his favorite game, even though we paid for it.
