I transformed an old factory into a solarpunk community heaven (advices and tips in the description)

Hi ! It's Eligriv once again. Take a look at this before after. I used as a template an old build of mine ... I've decided to show how you can turn anything into solarpunk, because the comments on my latest post were trully amazing to read. ☀️Solarpunk isn't always crazy colorful buildings or tall white skyscrappers with trees slapped on them. Sometimes it's just about degrowth and how we can improve the world. The build I worked with is a sterile abandoned Cod Factory. Anything can become solarpunk as long as you follow those 3 rules : -🌱You need to work with the existing environment (Landscape or in this case, an old factory) and tie it to the surroundings (plants). No why would you do big terraforming or destroy a cool building which has a story... continue it ! Add to it ! Make it evolve with you. -⚡️Energy. You have to power your build with sustainable energy sources... ok it is Minecraft... you dont have any ... at least not in vanilla. But building solar pannels or wind turbines gives your build the technologic / futuristic elements that makes it look solarpunk... instead of just overgrown -💚Community is key. It's the core valor of solarpunk. You have to show your build has a story and is being lived in /used. I've done it by making a few gardens, a bench, a fruit stall and a small elevated platform to grow plants on the facade. (I transformed a window into a door ... remember... work WITH the environment you have).

That's all for today my friends ! I'll make a video explaining all of it sometimes in the future. Until then, you have sneak peaks and early advices/concepts. Hope that'll inspire some of you even more ! And who knows... maybe with that post you are discovering Solarpunk for the first time... if so, go on google, go on youtube ! Do some researches ! And maybe will you help us transform real world into an utopia.
