 | i made these for a friend's birthday by gridding a set of wooden coasters, then painting with acrylic paint to look like brown glazed terracotta. i sealed them with resin to be fancy. painting took about 6 hours (since i needed to do 3 coats of each color), but overall, it was a pretty cheap craft and painting pixels is oddly relaxing. i also made a set of white glazed terracotta coasters for myself, but that was my first attempt & it didn't come out as well. also, the colors didn't match quite as well as i'd hoped because my brown paint darkened more with drying than any other colors... still really happy with the end results, though  submitted by /u/killernoodlesoup [link] [comments] |
