I like useless mobs. Downvote the post before it's too late. I feel like they add more life to the game, and people say stuff like "tHe SnIfFeR iS uSeLeSs WaAaAh!11!!1!1!" but I think it's there for the aesthetic. To make the world feel lively, unlike older versions. When I voted for the crab to be added, it wasn't for the claw. It was to make the beaches feel way less barren. because you can't go to a beach IRL and not see a crab. In Minecraft you only see turtles there, but that's only a chance of happening anyway. So cry about "Mojang being lazy," because I just bet there's someone like me that's in there.
