I'm the Dad who posted a recent question and, wow, I got so many helpful answers, suggestions and tips. There are some subs I'd comment on where I can almost be assured of toxic replies. On here though, I was thrilled at how really helpful so many people were. Thank you one and all!
I should clear something up though. Maybe when the guy in the shop told me to set up Steam he may have meant for other games. My next task, now he has bought MC and has got access to Forge, is for me to figure out how he/I can set up a server on which he can only play against / with invited friends.
All tips, advice, dos and don'ts welcome.

Edit: Can anyone please explain the difference between a Realm and a Server? Sorry for being so clueless!
