 | So you kill one chicken irl, you get 1 rotisserie. You kill 1 chicken in mc u get 1 rotisserie. Makes sense right? Ok so, what does looting mean? Looting means to "loot" more. To collect more RSS from a kill, most likely means you are more resource efficient when cutting up the animals. That's why you would get more beef from a cow/ham from a pig. So, chickens. A chicken drops an entire rotisserie. A rotisserie is literally all the chicken meat. So... where is a looting enchanted blade getting the other chickens?! Here's my logic: Everyone sees enchantments as magic. Good excuse, but I see it as more a skill upgrade (why they are applied by books). So, what amount of skill would allow a butcher to make chicken from nothing? Magic: Yes, I get it, some are magic. (Flame, Smite, Mending, Riptide, Fire Aspect, ECT). But in my head cannon, the more "normal" ones (Sweeping Edge, Unbreaking, Sharpness, Efficiency, Power, Knockback, Punch, ECT) are skills.
