I don't get people's beef with Copper...

People say Copper is worthless since it's not as good as Iron and you can find Iron pretty easily and fast.

And while they are not wrong, from my experience, Iron is harder to find and you need to save up for quite some time before you have enough to craft a full set of Iron equipment.

Copper by contrast is almost as plentiful as Coal, after a few minutes I always have WAY more Copper than I know what to do with.

You need at least 34 Iron Ingots to forge a full set or armor and tools, but if you want yo create a minecart rail network to between your base and your minning cave that's also gonna cost a significant ammout of ingots. And that's not even including stuff like buckets to collect lav and water, make a lighter, sears so you can carve pumpkins, trim sheep for wool and cut leave blocks from trees, ect.

After one trip to a mine I managed to get out with 50 Iron ores I could make into Ingots, If I make myself a set of Iron armor and tools my supply of Iron is almost nearly gone.

Copper allows you to have armor and tools significantly better than Leather armor or Stone tools AND allows you yo save your Iron for when you actually need it.

Am I seriously alone on this?
