I built this bridge in a vanilla SMP with some friends, but they think it would look better if the stone was stone brick

So yeah, basically as the title says, I built a bridge- they've already told me that the gradient used isn't great, which I can sorta agree with, (I don't think it's bad enough to need replacing though) and also i think it would look a bit better without the wooden pillars. but the main thing we are having arguements on is if the top layer would look better in stone brick?
