Do people really dislike archeology?

Personally I love this feature. It is slow and annoying and the rewards are only cosmetic (+the music disc) but I’m fine with that. Searching for hours and hours just to get one rare disc does sound tedious and it is however , the rewards are worth it for me. Not everything needs to have an impact on gameplay. Sometimes just a good looking or interesting pot is enough for me.
