Hey guys I have never played Minecraft and need help learning it so I can spend time with my child 8yr old

Edit: I just purchased Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition

Edit: I live in different country from my child so we will be playing online mostly (Me on Laptop child on Nintendo Switch 2)
