It’s been about 15 years since I first played you. I started off in dirt huts and no understanding of how to play. I never even really beat the game in the literal sense. I’ve never gotten to the end, and rarely went to the nether.

Regardless, I’ve spent countless hours playing you. I’ve built cathedrals, cities, sprawling underground bases, and countless other creations. I played you for the unlimited creativity.

I’m 25 now, I haven’t played you in a long time, I’ve been too busy. I still design buildings like I did with you, but now it’s from a skyscraper for my full-time job.

I owe you for a lot of who I am and what I love. I have a couple nephews now. They are just as clueless as I was when I played. I hardly recognize the game now, but every reason I loved it is still there, and I hope it lights the same sparks for my nephews that it did for me.

Thank you.
