Charcoal is one of the most important things for starting a survival world, I don’t know why everyone says it’s useless.

Here is the first things I do in a survival world:

1) chop down a tree

2) make a crafting table

3) make a wood pickaxe

4) mine stone

5) make a furnace and stone tools

6) make charcoal

7) make torches

Usually I do all this before nightfall, often with time to spare. Charcoal is pretty useless after the beginning, but so are wooden tools. It’s literally one of the first things I do in a survival world, yet everyone says it’s useless.
