| So, cauldrons in Minecraft are kinda useless unless you go out of your way to use their few functions. Blocks and buckets usually replace them much more easily. What if they could actually cook food? My idea: place a cauldron on top of a campfire, fill it with water, then add crops that are already in the game (potatoes, carrots, beetroot, pumpkin). After 30s–1min it starts boiling, and with a bowl you can scoop out a stew or soup. The result could restore more hunger bars and maybe give a small side effect like faster healing. It would finally make cauldrons worth using in survival, and it fits Minecraft’s simple style. What do you think? submitted by /u/MightElectrical581 [link] [comments] |
