 | I’ve been recreating roadside Americana in Minecraft for a while, and one of the builds I finished was the Blue Whale of Catoosa. An Oklahoma newspaper mentioned the Minecraft version in a story about the real landmark. It completely caught me off guard. I never expected anything I built in this game to show up in the real world. He interviewed me and everything. I still can't believe it. I just wanted to share the moment with people who enjoy building too. No links or anything like that. Just excited. You never know who is looking at your content. Also, I have much bigger/better builds than this. My first series was a landmark in every state so they weren't all intricate builds.
