Hello everyone, I would like to ask for AntiCheat recommendations for my Minecraft survival server.

Server Information

  • Minecraft version: 1.21.11
  • Server software: Leaf (Purpur fork)
  • Average player count: ~30-40 players online
  • Bedrock support: Geyser + Floodgate (~30% of players are Bedrock users)
  • Server type: Survival

Gameplay Features

My server includes many custom systems and gameplay mechanics, such as:
  • Custom crops and farming systems
  • Economy-based progression
  • Custom quests and community objectives
  • Custom mobs and bosses
  • Custom abilities and skills
  • Team and social systems
  • PvE-focused gameplay with optional PvP
  • Bedrock and Java crossplay
The server uses a variety of plugins, including custom gameplay plugins, economy plugins, quest systems, Geyser/Floodgate, GrimAC-related dependencies, and several performance optimizations. Because this is an MMORPG environment, players may frequently interact with:
  • Custom movement mechanics
  • Skill-based abilities
  • Modified combat behavior
  • Boss mechanics
  • Special item effects
  • GUI-heavy interactions
  • Bedrock client movement differences

What I'm Looking For

My main goal is to prevent common cheats while keeping the gameplay smooth and avoiding excessive false positives. I'm currently considering:
  • Boar AntiCheat
  • Themis AntiCheat
  • Lightning Grim
  • Intave
  • Spartan
  • NoChance AntiCheat
I would like to hear opinions from server owners who have experience running survival servers.

Questions:

  1. Which AntiCheat would you recommend for a Minecraft 1.21.11 MMORPG server?
  2. Which AntiCheat handles custom skills, teleports, abilities, and RPG mechanics the best?
  3. How well do these AntiCheats work with Geyser/Floodgate Bedrock players?
  4. Which AntiCheat produces the fewest false positives in RPG environments?
  5. Is Grim (or Lightning Grim) sufficient, or is a premium solution such as Intave or Spartan worth the investment?
  6. Are there specific movement, combat, or reach checks that should be adjusted for survival custom gameplay?
  7. Do you prefer running a single AntiCheat, or combining AntiCheat with moderation tools such as logs, CoreProtect, staff review, and replay systems?
  8. For long-term maintenance and compatibility with future Minecraft updates, which option has been the most reliable?
I amn't interested in bypasses or exploit methods. My goal is simply to maintain a fair environment while preserving a smooth gameplay experience for both Java and Bedrock players. Any recommendations, real-world experiences, benchmark results, or configuration tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
