Banning Gmail aliases (+) sign

I wonder if this is a valid way to ban Gmail aliases? They work by adding + to existing Gmail.
Like [email protected] will send email to [email protected] basically they can create infinite aliases off 1 Gmail.
I thought of adding this to banned emails:

*+*@googlemail.com

Would that rule work for it?
