We have tags enabled on AVForums but using them for forum content discovery involves using the tag tab of advanced search. Not easy to find and very probably not used much at all.
Yet I think tags can be useful to find content. Especially if you use the ‘forum auto tag’ feature of my tag essentials addon to automatically suggest specific tags to all new threads in a specific forum. E.g.
