Arcane Warfare is a simple PvP-based modpack which uses the major magic mods present in 1.12.2 (Thaumcraft, Botania, AS, Embers, and Witchery) that provides a unique experience for PvP in mods; All of the mods have been carefully selected so that each counters the other, and a lifesteal system with balanced creep has also been implemented.
For example, for countering OP armor, like awakened ichorcloth armor, there is the Werewolf race from Witchery, which rips through armor; but for countering that, there are baubles which can occasionally save you from death.
The modpack is optimized and can run on 4-5GB ram with up to 300FPS smoothly.
For players who think 1.12.2 is too old, there are port mods for caves and cliffs, deepslate, and RTG mod for a stunning landscape, and the provided modern texturepacks and sound mods make it virtually identical to modern minecraft, probably even faster too.
Fast, Competitive gameplay is encouraged, automate all you can, try to protect your base with our claims system with sieges and capturing, and create your identity as a mage.
