For context, I have an RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 7 5800x3d, and playing the vanilla game (Java edition) with max settings and 32 chunk render distance is a laggy stuttering mess.
Why is it that in order to run my game with the max settings on a HIGH END gaming PC, I need to install optimization mods such as sodium, lithium, and nvidium just so my game dosnt stutter and experience fps drops.
Honestly I would MUCH rather have an update focused purely on optimizations and lag reduction, maybe even aquire the rights to some of the mods that have been making these optimizations and integrate them into the vanilla game.
