2.2 regression: Tooltip trigger hover does not work on iPad with trackpad

When using a trackpad on an iPad to trigger a hover tooltip (like hovering over Like to trigger the reactions menu) nohing happens the tooltip is not triggered.

This did work in XenForo 2.2
