Bring your world to life with this immersive datapack! Watch as spruce trees dynamically grow, age, die, and drop pinecones to reproduce, creating an ever-changing forest ecosystem. Enjoy the beautiful interactions between Forest Biomes, Foxes, Grassy Meadows, and vibrant Flower Fields. All seamlessly integrated into your vanilla Minecraft world.
In this update, coconut trees can grow very tall and produce coconuts, which eventually fall to the ground and roll around a bit. If the conditions are right, a coconut might even sprout into a small coconut sapling and grow into a new mighty tree, providing you with a bit of shade to sip your cocktail under.
Sometimes their coconuts find their way into oceans or rivers. In waters like these, they can spread much farther than on land. In real life, coconuts can travel over 5,000 kilometers (roughly 3,000 miles) across oceans!
In the tropics, you don't have your typical four seasons. Roughly speaking, there are two wet and two dry seasons that alternate with each other. The same goes for this datapack: during the dry seasons, you can see the leaves of coconut trees start to brown slightly.
You can plant these coconut trees anywhere you like! To do this, drop cocoa beans and an amethyst shard in the same spot. But do note that tropical forests require a sandy ground and specific water conditions in order to reproduce effectively and remain sustainable.
Happy tropicalizing!
