Cave Mob Expansion Pack
With the introduction of Minecraft 1.18, or “The Cave and Cliffs Update”, we felt that the caves were still lacking in terms of unique mobs and new experiences. This pack is part of a multi-volume set of cave expansion mobs that feel vanilla enough to drag-and-drop onto a survival server, and well modeled enough to frontline an RPG experience, so enjoy!
The Pack Includes…
6 Custom Mob Models
Idle/Walk/Death/Attack and special attack animations when relevant.
Fully skilled for use with MythicMobs!
RandomSpawning configured to populate your survival caves!
(Not tested on ModelEngine 3.0.0)
The Lush Cave Spider
(Patched by Kirazie - Arrives broken upon purchase...)
This poisonous spider is relative to the cave spider, but mutated in the lush cave biomes to be bigger, faster, and stronger. Not only does this spider pack a nasty bite, but it is capable of shooting poison out of its abdomen at a nearby target. Randomly spawns in caves, in lush cave biomes.
Cave Mushrooms
The cave mushroom and its friend the toxic cave mushroom both spawn in packs underground in the caves. If you jump on these poor little fellows, you’ll get a little boost up from its mushy top, as it dives underground to hide for a bit. Killing these guys is pretty cruel, although the toxic ones can be a bit hostile…
The Cave Stalker
One of the more unique mobs in this pack, this creature spawns in dripstone areas mainly, camouflaged by the spikes on his back. He’s extra sneaky, because he won’t come out of the ground with an epic animation until your back is to him, looking the other way. He packs quite the punch and you would not want to run into him.
The Lava Squid
The squids close relative, the skin on this one is a little thicker allowing it to spawn only in lava lakes. This squid has 2 devastating attacks, one to pull you into the lava pull so it can eat you, and one that shoots magma missiles at you from across the cave. This is a brutal creature. **There is a known issue in latest MythicMobs where the randomspawning may not work for everyone, we are actively looking into fixing this.**
Skeleton Brute
This creature had its legs knocked off before it was banished to the deep dark, found only in super deep darkstone caves, this mob is a ranged and melee beast, able to poison from far and brutalize you from up close. Beware.
