How do get the items in-game?

While using resourcepack, type :
/give <player name> <item identifier>{CustomModelData:<custom_model_data value>}

Examples :
/give @p diamond_sword{CustomModelData:100} – gives Lightsaber to a player.
Also try diamond_axe, diamond_pickaxe, etc…

Items glow in the dark in Vanilla. OptiFine is not required.
The Vanilla glow will work on versions 1.17+
With OptiFine it will glow on any version.
