My Former Friend Probably Won’t Give Me A Copy Of Our 1.5 Year Old Minecraft World, Both Of Us Are On Xbox Series X, Even If We Both Wanted To Would I

EDIT: I am starting to realize that this may be impossible without both me and the owner having a windows pc. I am moving on, though i would like to thank everyone for their support, Though if there is a way that somehow involves no pc or gets us both windows pc for free, that would also be good to know. I PRAY that mojang someday makes this streamlined and easy for us poor console people, but i doubt that will happen for a while. Thx o7

Before I start, I would like to thank anybody who replies to this, I spent probably at least a thousand hours in this world and it would really suck If I had to lose that.

In the summer of 2022, me and four of my school friends started a survival minecraft realm. Most crucially to understand, the owner of this was the person I will be trying to negotiate with to obtain the world. We spent ages on this world for that summer, but as most minecraft worlds do, everyone slowly lost interest in it. Me and one of my friends were the ones who really stayed and kept building stuff, but the other two, including the owner would just come back and look at what we built.

Last summer, I quietly left my friend group because of how repeatedly annoying and weird the owner had gotten. For example, he had once somehow acquired the names of all of my family members, and started listing them out whilst all four of us were in an xbox party. I am pretty sure that he just looked at the public records, but at the time I was unaware of this. This actually scared the crap out of me, and he intentionally withheld how he had done it, even up to now. I had left because he had stopped paying for the realm, which was all I really had been sticking around for at that point in time. Currently, I don’t even see the realm in friends list. A few months ago it was still there and had a green dot in it, but currently the realm is no longer even there at all. I had offered to pay for him on the lowest tier of realm sub, I think 4 dollars/month for 2 players at once not including the owner, but he repeatedly declined. I had also then asked him to give me a copy of the realm so that he wouldnt have to worry about it anymore, but he also declined. Over a few months, I had asked him to give me the realm but he repeatedly declined once again.

Before I do anything, Is it even possible to transfer a minecraft world from one series x to another? I have heard of people doing it with realms somehow, but if I am mistaken, please tell me.

Second, Is there anything else I could do in this situation, or should I just move on? If you made it all the way to the end, thanks for reading.

MORE INFO:

  1. I am not the owner of the world, my former friend is.
  2. It appears that the world is no longer even a realm, because where it previously was in my friends list, even with a greyed out circle, it is no longer there at all.
  3. I don’t have access to any PC currently, and i don’t know if this would work, but could I use a free library PC to do this?
  4. I am unaware if my friend has a PC, if not, should i just call it quits or get him to use a library pc or something?

TLDR: Former friend of mine has minecraft world in which I have over 1,000 hours in, but probably won’t give it to me. Also, it it possible to transfer a world from one Xbox series x to another?
