extra.less code to show FA in visitor menu on XF 2.3.x?

I know there was this cool mod that would add FA icons to the visitor menu via an extra.less edit. Does anyone have this? I found a seemingly related plugin, but it didn't work. I'm running XF 2.3.5. Thanks!
